These are the plain-English rules for using Unfold. We collect the minimum we need to run the service and nothing more. If you have a question not covered here, email us at unfold.presss@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
To send your letter each month, we need:
Your name and mailing address
Your email address (for subscription and account management)
Payment information — processed by Stripe, never stored by us
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone except the print-and-mail partner required to physically send your letter each month.
2. How your address is used
Your mailing address is used for one purpose: printing it on your envelope so we can post your letter to you. It is passed to our print-and-mail provider solely for that purpose. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or shared with any third party beyond what's needed to deliver your letter.
You can update or delete your address at any time by emailing unfold.presss@gmail.com.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. Here's how it works:
Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again
We don't offer refunds for the current billing period — you'll keep receiving that month's letter
To cancel, manage your subscription via the link in your confirmation email, or email us at hello@unfold.press and we'll handle it within 24 hours
No cancellation fees. No gotchas.
4. Shipping & delivery
Letters ship from Bangkok once per month. Delivery times vary by region — typically 7–21 days to Australia and the USA. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services once a letter has been dispatched. If a letter goes missing, email us and we'll do our best to sort it out.
Currently shipping to: United States and Australia only.
5. Cookies & tracking
Our website (unfold.press) may use basic cookies to understand how visitors find us. We don't use invasive tracking or sell browsing data. If you'd prefer not to be tracked, you can disable cookies in your browser settings.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email unfold.presss@gmail.com. We'll respond within 7 days.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data or these terms, we'll let you know by email before the changes take effect.
8. The basics
Unfold is operated by Boring Studios, Bangkok, Thailand. By subscribing, you agree to these terms. The service is provided as-is; we'll always do right by our subscribers, but we can't guarantee perfect postal systems.
